However I'm uncertain which versions you have. According to the book, these dolls were available for most of the 1970s and there were numerous variations. A number of sets used the Malibu Barbie as a base doll including Newport Barbie (a sailing themed doll), Sun Valley Barbie (skiing)and several different Gold Medal Olympic Barbies. Your best bet is probably to look through the outfits that came with the dolls and see if you can narrow it down.
Signed, TreesaTreesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12526585862592345034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4137499729425715878.post-890249202798992812017-09-26T17:05:12.528-07:002017-09-26T17:05:12.528-07:00Hi Mel!

So cute!

The face is such a beauty on the ballerina and your ice skater. You are so lucky to have a flocked hair Ken! I think the most handsome Ken is either the second one in this post or the 90's Ken's that have the Alan head mold. I love that one! I don't like the Justin Beiber looks at all and my mom hated the ones from the 80's. She was astonished that I wanted a Ken (She always said Barbie needed a better looking Ken, LOL!) I like the looks of some of the new Fashionista Kens but none of them have real hair...boring!My Barbie Blog - Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09188493118291432758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4137499729425715878.post-3552199068567647892017-09-24T10:46:06.270-07:002017-09-24T10:46:06.270-07:00How awesome!

One is very loose and in the play box.
The other is in a tennis suit and has a matching Barbie, and is complete, rackets shoes and all. They are indeed from the 70s and on the shelf.
The ballerina I have, as I was told, an ice skater. I love this face. It is my favorite. It was also the Sweet 16 face in 74.( The year I shocked my mom by asking for a Barbie instead of cars)
My first thought on the last lassie was "suntan" Barbie. Not sure if that was a thing or if it was a name my mom made up. Also from the 70s. I had a pop up camper with mine. (second hand even then)
I like the look of the first Kens (I lucked into a flocked hair one) much better than the Justin Bieber, airhead look the new blonde ones have.
Though a couple of the new dark haired guys look pretty good. I need the one with the glasses but can't find him. (LOL my hubby as Ken...)
I am glad you are feeling better!
hugs
m

The PrairieHomemakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18370098450045175018noreply@blogger.com
