Thanks for stopping by!
I actually do...Hi Ashley! Thanks for stopping by!

I actually don't know of a book. I have gained a lot of knowledge from other doll owners and blog sites. I have never really searched for a book per se. I'm sure any one would be good. I wouldn't choose a pricing guide as I don't think there would be a lot of history in them. Might be worth checking out Amazon. Also, I adore your blog!Ashley Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11646553239530298119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4137499729425715878.post-50043599649786212782013-07-08T12:23:46.928-07:002013-07-08T12:23:46.928-07:00I did not know that Barbie was always playline. Some a little over the top, but most of them are adorable. I think my favorite playline is the Barbie in Swan Lake. The dresses are so beautiful.

I'm glad you found Corinne and Aramina with masks intact. I would love to have the boots. One of each is kind of a drag!! I would like to get Aramina's dress. I love the aqua color.

Mattel Villians would be super cool. Especially Maleficent. I'm glad everything worked out fine for you.

Actually Barbie was always playline, collectible Barbies started when the 1988 Happy Holiday Barbie sold well. According to a book, she was sort of a test, if people would be willing to spend more than 25 dollars on a doll. Then the collector dolls came up and with that the seperation of playline and collectibles.

Actually I love playline dolls, must be the kid in me. If you ask for a particular playline series, my answer would be Fashion Fever. FF had a great variety of facemolds and beautiful clothes. I also love the Fashionistas for their posability and the dolls to the Barbie movies.

Your purple fairy is adorable. When they were released I loved the hair colors, but didn't dig the fantasy skin tones so I passed on them. Now I'm glad, I found them all second hand.

So funny, I just got Corinne and Aramina at the fleamarket, sans their boots and swords but with their clothes and masks. Those masks are a weired construction and I don't think it's possible for a child to comb their hair without breaking the mask thingies.

I also like to have the dolls that go with the movies. But I really wish Mattel would also make dolls of the villains like Disney does.Andreanoreply@blogger.com
