We are coming to the end of the Christmas haul. Which means that we have some more clothing to share and we are getting closer to the annual dolly fashion show!
Also, when this whole virus thing ends, check your thrift stores as a lot of people I know have been doing some cleaning! And that includes old toys which could be our new treasures!
On Christmas, my dad had a small tupperware tub with a pink lid and in it were three doll boxes. It was not wrapped. So I asked him "Is that for me?!" HA.
Boxes and original fashions for Sunsational Malibu Barbie, Fashion Play Barbie and Tropical Miko. Nice!
I'm not sure if these are OOAK or Best Buy Fashions. I've looked through and through and cannot find anything that these were put out by Mattel. So if you know if they are, please let me know!
Teal Coat
Brown coat with fur trim.
Red corduroy coat with trim that reminds me of an Asian coat. Very pretty.
Red coat with snap closure.
Lime coat with buttons and I believe snaps underneath. I'm liking this color!
White coat with red details.
Another red coat. Someone liked red apparently!
A black fur coat/vest/shrug. Might be good for Halloween :)
Light blue lace hooded poncho. (Do all ponchos have hoods?) This is very nicely done and makes me wonder if this was manufactured.
Red pleather trench coat.
White fur coat with red liner. Reminds me of the coat from the vintage fashion Ice Breaker.
A very nice wedding gown with little panties. Nice satin fabric.
And a very nice little petticoat to poof the dress out. Needs some ironing but will be nice when I get it cleaned.
Another wedding dress, this one lace and also with a petticoat and panties.
A tulle slip/petticoat
A VERY nice blue dress. This one also makes me wonder if it was a best buy fashion or some sort.
Light blue robe
Pink polkadot pajamas. With two tops
White nightgown with pink details and lace neckline, cuffs and hem
Two printed long sleeve shirts
Three more long sleeve tops. Check out that blue and yellow one! The black and white one reminds me of 80's active wear.
Short sleeve shirts. Plain, gingham and sleeveless red satin with sequin hem.
Red knit sweater and red striped blouse.
Denim jumper. I kind of like the raw edges on the pockets. Left one needs a little fixing up.
Two skirts. Off white with brown decorative stitch and grey with gold ribbon design.
Two blue skirts
Okay. Let's talk about this one. Tutti! Tutti was the twin sister of Todd (and then it changed to Stacy?) and the littlest sister of Barbie and Skipper. She came out in 1966 and was discontinued in 1971. So there were not that many outfits made for her. She went on to become more popular in the Europe and Canadian markets and was there until 1980. So the person here was referencing outfit #8465 and was called "Cute Suit." However that outfit had a red leather skirt like this one but it was not a jumper. It also had a red leather vest. So I do not think this one is a Tutti outfit.
Black and blue skirts
Four skirts. Red, floral, grey and lime green. Again, loving the lime green!
Light blue skirt and another skirt that has stoplights on it!
Two floral aprons
Light yellow blouse and denim jacket.
Brown knit sweater and a black fringe vest.
Blue striped hooded blouse with gathering at the waist and green gingham blouse.
Green sweater and plaid vest
Shorts! Pink, orange, red with side design and hawaiian print/black
Pink and grey shorts and blue striped capris.
Floral, tan and blue leopard capris
Blue stretchy jumper and matching pants
It's my job here in the next couple of weeks to sort through my OOAK clothes and get them organized. And then I can organize just manufactured clothes and OOAK clothes.
Have you been doing some dolly organization during this time at home? Got any good tips for organization? Let me know in the comments!
Next post coming up soon! Until then!
