First Impressions

Okay friends, here is the 2019 Holiday Barbie!

And *sigh* what color is she wearing?

Red.

Red. AGAIN!

MATTEL. FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING SACRED AND HOLY PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US ANOTHER HOLIDAY DOLL THAT IS NOT RED! I love the candy cane theme in this one but honestly. The last half of my shelf is going to be ALL RED.

What are you thoughts? Let me know in the comments!

Yeah, seeing another red doll disappointed me too. I'd like to see something really unusual, like blue or purple.

I love the red dolls. This one is I think my favorite so far. She is on my list this year for sure!
I like the simpler lines of the gown too. No gilt ribbons or fancy extras.
Simple and classic.

She is very pretty and even if red is a Christmassy color - there are many other colors suited for the Holidays like green and golden. Or why not go just crazy with a pinkish one?

Hi RagingMoon, you have my thoughts exactly! A royal purple doll would be a regal choice for a Holiday Barbie. Remember when we had the blue dress on the Millennium Princess doll? So pretty!

Hi Mel! The dress is a really attractive cut for this doll. As I said in the post, I do like the candy cane theme. Just wish all the red was maybe, white? :)

DollsDolour, THIS! We have had two pink dolls in the history of the Holiday Barbie, 1990 and 2009 and they both were awesome! Think back to the dolls we have had dressed in green. They have all been so gorgeous! We even had a black one with the 2006 Bob Mackie Holiday Barbie! I think we should have Bob Mackie design the next holiday doll. Who's with me? :)

The red is pretty, but an emerald green or gold would be a stunning look! Gorgeous any way you look at it though.
