It's Ladies Night!

Greetings!

According to the title, it's Ladies Night, Barbie Style!

First, I must show you a picture that a friend posted on Facebook. She took a trip to the Goodwill and snapped this pic. Oh man, let me tell you, I got a serious good laugh at this one!

"At goodwill Steve Austin is livin' the life!"

So apparently it's Ladies Night at the Goodwill (with one male) and it looks like a good time is had by all!

So I got home from work today to find these lovely ladies maxin' and relaxin' by our new water feature! They're having a ladies night of their own!

And honestly, I don't blame them! It was beautiful outside (a little hazy from forest fires nearby but nonetheless, still beautiful and warm.)

As you will notice, these ladies are my recent additions and wanted to check out their new home.

My mom and I spent all last Saturday playing Barbie! We dressed and we brushed hair and put together outfits and shoes. I didn't even get out of my PJ's until well after noon. An awesome day relaxing.

I won't get into all the ID right now because, well, it's a ton! I also have tons of clothes! You all are going to have fun with this one. :)

We'll start with a few ID's. First, I am very excited to get a new Skipper doll. This one has a beautiful pink stripe in her hair. She has articulated legs.

Gorgeous dark skinned beauty. She has articulated arms and legs.

How about this one? She got a haircut so she is a good candidate for a wig.

Now this one. She is a beautiful princess doll but rather large. She has very waxy hair.

And as you an see, she is about a half inch taller than Barbie.

Barbie Dentist! She talks! She is so pretty with the brown hair.

And lastly, we'll end with this little cutie (with some amazing voluptuous hair!)

Tune in again in a few days for the other dolls of the collection. Until then!

I hope you are safe from the fires. Your new water feature makes a very nice backdrop for doll pictures.

That thrift store pic cracked me up, lol. You had a great haul, congrats.

Skipper is 2010 Sisters Skateboard Skipper, she came with a skateboard and her little sister Chelsea (the little one in the blue dress standing behind Tinker Bell on your pic) on a skooter. She is wearing her original issue pants.

The next Lady is 2010 Fashionista Artsy (hinged knees = first edition, rotating knee joints = second edition). I think this Artsy is the most beautiful playline doll sporting this headmold.

I can't figure out the next one, sorry. I think she is on of the shorter bodied dolls though, so that would place her aroung 2007 and first half of 2008. Oh yes, a wig would make that girl very happy, I'm sure.

The princess ist Storytime Princess Sleeping Beauty by MGAE. She is wearing 2007 Island Princess Barbie's gown.

Congrats on Dentist Teresa. I have her too.

The last one is a Moxie Girl by MGAE, but this where my knowledge ends. I have two or three of them myself, but they all came as loose dolls so I don't know who they are.

That's funny, I got some of the clothes on sunday's fleamarket too.

Haha, we got the same bodysuit. :) I also got the plaid skirt in my haul too. :) Did you also get all those dolls? They are very beautiful! Congrats. Who is the last doll? With the wide eyes and eyelashes?

The sisters skateboard is so cute!! I didn't get that top in my haul. The shirt she is wearing is the closest one that I could find that fit poor Skipper. I really need skipper clothes but they don't have any in the stores!

Fashionsita Artsy is very beautiful. And I got her entire outfit too. Score!!

Interesting about the MGAE Sleeping Beauty! I didn't think that a Barbie dress would fit her. She seems so much larger than a regular doll. I have Princess Luciana, maybe this dress would fit her. :)

I love love love Dentist Teresa. My mom washed her coat so it is nice and white. I might scour Ebay for some of her accessories. Would be awesome to get those.

I looked up the Moxie Girlz doll and since I have one boot I figured that I could find her somewhere. She is Magic Snow Sophina. I have most of this outfit. lol

Yes, the dolls are also fleamarket scores from last Sunday. That fleamarket was quite a haul.

The last doll is a Fleur from the 70s. Fleur is a Dutch Sindy clone. you can read about her history here:

Congrats on getting Sophina's Outfit as well. I just saw the Commercial for the Magic Snow dolls and found out, that one of my Moxie Girlz is the Avery from that line.

I kind of thought that your doll kind of looked like a Sindy. I'll have to read up on her.

I just looked at Avery. I've only heard of Moxie Girls once before now but they are some cute dolls! :)
