Seasons Greetings!
Have you all finished your Christmas shopping? I have one last person to buy for and then I am done! As much as I love Christmas and wrapping, etc, I am glad when I can put away all the ribbons and trimmings and paper and get my dining room looking back to normal! Anyone with me on this one?
I walked into the spare bedroom where I have my Ever After High dolls displayed and found the most amazing sight. The sun was shining right on the glitz and glamour of the Thronecoming line. After weeks of rain and snow, this was a very refreshing sight! I tried to capture it as much as I could.

It was really Cupid that caught my eye first. How her dress sparkles!

This was so fun. Just had to share!
Also, a few weeks ago I was feeling very unenthusiastic about Holly's hair. As the daughter of Rapunzel, you've got to have killer hair right? Well, it was a little frizzy for my taste so she got a nice boil dip. What do you think?

After the dip it's so sleek and shiny! Only thing is I'm having trouble getting her little crown to stay on so be thinking of that if you haven't taken the rubber band off her crown yet.

WOW! Two blog posts in one week? I'm on a serious roll!
I took Jacob to Target to spend the $40 gift card some awesome friends got for us. And when I go to stores I cruise through the doll aisle. Anyone else guilty of this even if you've been to the store just two days prior? ;)
Well, Target has an exclusive Blondie Lockes. But you may remember me saying that I do not care much for Blondie's character or dolls. They seem a little lackluster to me.
First, the original release
Then her Thronecoming doll
Then they came out with the "Through the Woods" line. Again, not impressed.
Then, Target came out with this Blondie.
Um, OKAY! Now THIS is a Blondie to die for! She is from the "Just Sweet" line and is a Target exclusive. And I would have purchased her but the $25 price point is a little more than I wanted to spend. I'll probably catch her on Amazon further down the line. (Even though she's a Target exclusive, everything eventually shows up on Amazon right?)

Purse? Functional cupcake. Cuteness!
Hair is pink, aqua, and blonde with a headpiece containing a bow and a cupcake.
She wears a gauntlet on one arm that looks like piped frosting.
Now what I love (besides the hair and the purse) is the dress. It's made to look like a cupcake wrapper. Her bodice is printed with all sorts of goodies and has a frosting belt with rosettes.
And we can't forget about THE SHOES! Cupcake heels with sprinkles on the toes and frosting around the edge with a pretty white bow. And how about those sparkle tights!
From what I've read, the Just Sweet line is going to be coming out along with Ginger Breadhouse's bakery playset. I may have to get this line!
I also had to take a quick glance at pretty Ashlynn. She got invited to the Blue Moon Forest Fest! You can watch the latest webisode to see who she invites with her (hint: it's not Hunter!)
I do like her Through the Woods character. It's so sweet and pretty.
And of course, because Ashlynn is all about the shoes, she picks the Glass Hiking Boot. I would not think these would be functional but she seems to think so. She's the expert! :)

I have been busy! (what's new right?) Last weekend after I photographed Apple, I realized I needed to rearrange my EAH shelf. I couldn't see Raven, Maddie, or Cerise as they were in the back. So, there was no better time than the present for a photo shoot!

I also took pictures of their fabulous storybook boxes. I have never had one box not stay together after I took out the doll. I feel that these boxes have been designed well so they would hold their shape.
I did have a picture of the entire row of them but accidentally deleted the photos from my SD card. Boo! Just pretend these two photos are together. :)

Lizzie is our second shorter doll, sized the same height as Maddie. I have not seen her in person yet but from these photos, she looks fabulous.
Why have I not snatched her up yet? Because I'm entering a contest. This brings me to my project!
The Ever After High Dolls page on Facebook is having a comic contest! And if I come in third place, I could win her!
The first and second place prizes? Cerise Wolf or Manny Taur and Iris Clops, the exclusive EAH and MH dolls sold at SDCC. Wow! She also throws in some other SDCC MH and EAH goodies as well. Now that's awesome!
Her contest is making a comic starring an EAH character. Pictures can either be done with photographs or hand drawn which allows those who have NO artistic drawing talent to enter!
I'm starting on my project today while the hubs is out and about. I asked him to help me come up with a story but you can see how well that went...... ;) I've got an idea though. I hope it's enough to win!

I also went shopping yesterday to pick up some baby things and needed to buy one MH dress as a prop for my comic. Do you know that they have NO MH fashion packs in stores anymore? I figured maybe I could pick up a doll if the price was cheap enough and I liked the dress. No dice. But I did find a doll that I liked. I don't know. Maybe I'll get her.

Dracubecca is a fusion of...you guessed it. Draculara and Robecca Steam. Cute no?
To be honest, I found all of these freaky fusion dolls super cute. I would have been tempted to buy if they were not $20.99 USD. They'll come down I'm sure.

These Freaky Fusions are different from the hybrids that came out previously: Avea Trotter, Bonita Femur, and Sirena von Boo. I love these mashes of characters. Awesome!

I mentioned in my last post with Cupid that I got my package with my new purchase(S). As in plural! There are more Ever After High Dolls to post about! What can I say, I'm obsessed!
Presenting to you...Blondie Lockes!
Blondie wasn't a doll that struck me as being one of my "have to haves." But I wanted all the first wave of Ever After High and after getting her, she kind of grew on me.
On the other hand, her Thronecoming doll is WOW!
Let's get to it!
She has a cute little dress that is reminiscent of Goldielocks. And it has pictures of the three bears on it! I take that back. If you look around the entire skirt it has pictures of 5 bears on it.
Her top has pictures of keys on it.
Blondie has a cute charm bracelet with pictures of hearts, a key, and bears on it.
She has a heart purse with a keyhole on it and a ring that bears the same heart pattern.
Her dangly earrings are a key and a bear. It's hard to see in these pictures.
The SHOES!
Blondie has short boots with fir at the top and the heel is a key. Really cool!
Blondie has cute bangs with a bow at the top of her hair.
She has wavy hair but unfortunately the box left a bald spot that I've been trying to cover up (don't you hate that!) What's neat though is that you can see that there are streaks of darker golden hair mixed in with her blonde. Overall, I'm pleased with Blondie's hair.
Blondie falls into the ranks of the Ever After Royals. However Goldilocks was not a princess. It's actually kind of funny in the webisodes she tries to prove that she comes from a history of ancient kings and queens and she'll tell anyone who wants to listen. :) She can also open any locked door which proves helpful for the other girls who may have locked themselves out of their dorm room. I think that's a cute feature.
Honestly Blondie is not a real exciting character, I like her doll and I think she's a good addition but I don't LOVE her.
