Christmas Treasures #2

Welcome again!

I actually have one more dolly from before Christmas that I would like to showcase but it's kind of a process to photograph so until I get around to that one, here is another one of my fabulous Christmas treasures. Hubby asked what I wanted and he sure delivered!

Adding to the Way Too Wonderland line, the fabulous Madeline Hatter!

Don't you just love her?

When I got her, I had to take a picture of her hat right out of the box. It was so ridiculous that I had to change it right away. The hat was completely horizontal on her head.

I know this is Wonderland but that's too much. ;)

Now what we've fixed her hat and we don't have to turn our heads sideways to see it, we can see that it has cards on the side with ribbons and a teal teapot.

Her earrings are little gold clocks.

She wears a charm necklace consisting of a teapot, teacup, clock and spoon. That is cute and so clever!

She wears black gloves adorned with a pink hat ring.

I love the style of this dress. It's just awesome! Her dress underneath is a simple plain teal strapless thigh-length stretch dress. Then there is this overcoat with a blue swirl print with spades, queen chess pieces and teacups on the bottom. It's tied together with a large purple bow with polka dots. Don't you just LOVE it?

One thing that I didn't care for was the material of the overcoat. It's the stiff satin and it took some fixing to get it to lay right coming out of the box. It's still not how I like it but it may relax a little over time.

Maddie has the same clock that the other dolls have come with. Mine however has to stay backwards. It doesn't snap closed!

The SHOES!

I addition to her hot pink tights, she has these super sweet teacup and ruffle shoes.

Perfect for Maddie!

Maddie's hair is the same purple and sea-foam theme with some pink streaks added in the front. Maddie's hair is curly so naturally it came out of the box matted and tangled. Because it was so flat I had to pick through it a little and it turned to frizz city.

I'm not sure what the deal is. My original Maddie Hatter came out of the box with actual curls, not a matted mess.

And my original Apple doll came with beautiful ringlets. This is right out of the box! What gives Mattel?

Well, her hair is going to need work. Her and Lizzie can make an appointment with Poppy O'Hair for the royal treatment!

What do you think of Way Too Wonderland Madeline Hatter? Did she make your way into your collection? Let me know in the comments!

Let's all welcome.......

So I received a VISA gift card from my brother for Christmas and last month realized that I hadn't used it yet. So what better thing to buy than dollies right?

Well, there were a couple that I just HAD to have in my collection. (In reality I want them ALL but you know, money.)

So I searched for the best prices and decided to add this little girl to my collection.

Introducing, Bunny Blanc!

Most of you know I just LOVE the Wonderlandians from EAH. Bunny has been out for a while but, because of money, I couldn't get her just yet. She's come down in price so I figured now was a good time to pick her up.

I like her and she has a sweet face but the gelled hair is such a turn off! I will be washing that the next chance I get. There is an issue with Bunny about some terrible eye wonk. She has a little but it's nothing I can't get past.

Super duper stiff hair. This really shows the gaps where the hang tags are. Just another reason to wash it out.

Don't you love her ears and hat?

She has the cutest mint green skirt with a clock pattern and grey vest with a fur trim. She wears black gloves with cuffs that look like button-down shirt sleeve cuffs.

Her (non-functional) purse is a clock. Mine has scuffs on it. Not sure if they will come out or not.

THE SHOES!

Bunny wears side button knee high boots. They totally fit Bunny's style!

Also if you notice, they have little puff ball "Bunny tail" poms on the back and the heel is shaped to look like an hourglass. Awesome!

And now, I have to take a picture of the entire group together. All the Wonderlandians!

The fabulous Kitty Cheshire, Lizzie Hearts, Allistair Wonderland, Bunny Blanc and Madeline Hatter!

What do you think of Bunny? Is she going to make it into your collection?

I'll have another newcomer next time. Stay tuned!

After My Heart

Well, here it is. I am going to go bankrupt. I wanted to share some new Ever After High lines. They are seriously stealing my heart!

Remember "Just Sweet" Blondie Lockes? Well, I was incorrect in that post. There is not a "Just Sweet" line. The correct term is "Sugar Coated." And it comes with a new Holly O'Hair, Cedar Wood, and Madeline Hatter.

LOVE. And the shoes. Oh my goodness. They come with accessory treats.

The oven mitt! I can't even.....

Cedar has a....I can't tell what it is. Anyone know?

Maddie. Super cute with her frosting dispenser!

I love these. They are so cute. And it's about time we got a new Maddie! I wasn't too impressed with the Mirror Beach dolls.

Also, Ginger Breadhouse has her Bakery Class playset. How cute is this! The bench is those wafers and gingerbread men chair! So adorable.

Okay! So we have the Sugar Coated line. But this line I want even more.

Get ready for the dolls of.....Way Too Wonderland!

Apple White. Check that bow in her hair. And that DRESS!!!

Madeline Hatter. I love the hat. So fitting!

Kitty Cheshire. Okay, this has got to be the most creative thing ever. The clock hanging off the tail? The fur around the neck? And the yellow color? Simply amazing!

Now for the best one of all. Lizzie Hearts! Check out that collar! And the swan in the crown? SO SO SO AWESOME.

FRIENDS. I am going to go broke. However I do love the Way Too Wonderland line better than the Sugar Coated line.

Remember what I said in the beginning of my Ever After High collecting? I fell in love with Ashlynn Ella and found her on a super sale at Target so I bought her. It was just going to be her. Then it expanded into the basic first wave dolls. Then you know i'm a sucker for ball gowns so I had to get the Thronecoming line. And I just LOVE the Wonderlandians so now I have another line to get. Gah! But what can I say. I just collect what I love and that's the fun of it right?

And while I was searching for pictures I found this and I could not stop laughing.

Monster High Freak du Chic Gooliope Jellington.

Gooliope? That's hilarious! I guess she's the daughter of The Blob? I love the radioactive symbols in her eyes!

What do you think of these two lines? And if you collect Monster High, thinking of getting Gooliope Jellington? Love her, hate her? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time!

The Group! and a Project! and some Monster High!

Greetings!

I have been busy! (what's new right?) Last weekend after I photographed Apple, I realized I needed to rearrange my EAH shelf. I couldn't see Raven, Maddie, or Cerise as they were in the back. So, there was no better time than the present for a photo shoot!

The group!

Aren't they just the cutest? Apple, Briar, Raven, Madeline

Maddie, Ashlynn & Hunter, Cupid, Blondie

Blondie, Cedar, Cerise, Dexter

Cedar, Cerise, Dexter, Holly & Poppy

I love them ALL!

I also took pictures of their fabulous storybook boxes. I have never had one box not stay together after I took out the doll. I feel that these boxes have been designed well so they would hold their shape.

I did have a picture of the entire row of them but accidentally deleted the photos from my SD card. Boo! Just pretend these two photos are together. :)

Do you know your Royals and Rebels? Here's the list!

Royals:
Apple White
Briar Beauty
Ashlynn Ella
Blondie Lockes
Dexter Charming
Holly O'Hair

Mattel has also announced three new Royals that will be making their debut soon! And I can NOT wait!

Hopper Croakington II
Duchess Swan
Daring Charming

How exciting is that!

Rebels:
Raven Queen
Madeline Hatter
Hunter Huntsman
C.A. Cupid
Cedar Wood
Cerise Hood
Poppy O'Hair

Mattel has also announced there will be a new Rebel to join the line! I think i'm more excited for this one than any of the royals coming out.

Kitty Cheshire

www.mattel.com

How cute will she be with her curly pigtails? She will be a hit.

There is also one doll that I am holding off on for a bit. Tell you why in a sec.

The most beautiful Lizzie Hearts who falls into the Ever After High Royals.

www.amazon.com
I LOVE her.

www.mattel.com
Lizzie is our second shorter doll, sized the same height as Maddie. I have not seen her in person yet but from these photos, she looks fabulous.

Why have I not snatched her up yet? Because I'm entering a contest. This brings me to my project!

The Ever After High Dolls page on Facebook is having a comic contest! And if I come in third place, I could win her!

The first and second place prizes? Cerise Wolf or Manny Taur and Iris Clops, the exclusive EAH and MH dolls sold at SDCC. Wow! She also throws in some other SDCC MH and EAH goodies as well. Now that's awesome!

Her contest is making a comic starring an EAH character. Pictures can either be done with photographs or hand drawn which allows those who have NO artistic drawing talent to enter!

I'm starting on my project today while the hubs is out and about. I asked him to help me come up with a story but you can see how well that went...... ;) I've got an idea though. I hope it's enough to win!

My story features the fabulous....Raven Queen!

I also went shopping yesterday to pick up some baby things and needed to buy one MH dress as a prop for my comic. Do you know that they have NO MH fashion packs in stores anymore? I figured maybe I could pick up a doll if the price was cheap enough and I liked the dress. No dice. But I did find a doll that I liked. I don't know. Maybe I'll get her.

Monster High Freaky Fusion Dracubecca
www.amazon.com
Dracubecca is a fusion of...you guessed it. Draculara and Robecca Steam. Cute no?

To be honest, I found all of these freaky fusion dolls super cute. I would have been tempted to buy if they were not $20.99 USD. They'll come down I'm sure.

Cleolei - Fusion of Cleo de Nile and Toralei

www.amazon.com

Lagoonafire - Fusion of Lagoona Blue and Jinafire Long (this one really gets me, cute!)
www.amazon.com

Clawvenus - Fusion of Clawdeen Wolf and Venus McFlytrap (The earrings! I can't even.....)
www.amazon.com
These Freaky Fusions are different from the hybrids that came out previously: Avea Trotter, Bonita Femur, and Sirena von Boo. I love these mashes of characters. Awesome!

I will post up my comic as soon as the contest is over, September 12. I better get to work!

Until then I'll have more Barbie posts coming up soon!

Let me know in the comments:

*Excited about the new EAH royals and rebels?
*Have any MH Freaky Fusion? Love or don't love them?
*Any EAH you plan to get in the future? (For me it's Thronecoming!!)

Until next time friends!

Happily Ever After Part 2

Greetings!

Last time I brought you my two newest Ever After High pieces: Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman. I had to buy because I could not resist the cuteness that is Ashlynn. I have them displayed on my shelf in such a cute pose because they are SOOOO in love..... ahhh :)

After I purchased Ashlynn and Hunter, I started looking for deals on the other dolls. I got a killer price at Target for Hunter and Ashlynn, I figured there were other deals to be had, especially since these dolls have been out for a bit.

I actually found one of the better prices at Mattel.com for "The Rebels" three pack. :) Bet you can easily guess which ones they are. I will feature one here for you today.

And I promised my mom that I would show you her first because, after all, the shoes steal the show!

Madeline Hatter.

Madeline is the daughter of the Mad Hatter and she is just so precious isn't she?

From what I've gathered from other blogs, Maddie tends to be a favorite among collectors. And why not? She's adorable!

If you've watched the Ever After High webisodes, you'll know that Maddie loves everything about Wonderland, riddles, and of course, tea. That's why they gave her cute teaspoon earrings and a teacup hat.

And the purse! A teapot! So perfect for Maddie. I kept the rubber band on because I believe the top comes off.

The beautiful purple and seafoam curly hair. LOVE!

And you can't argue with this adorbs outfit. It just fits her "Wonderland" theme.

However, what steals the show for me, is the tights and shoes. The blue polka dots and the China/teacup inspired shoes are....just....just.....I can't even describe them. Cute seems too mild. They are fabulous!

Can I get some in a size 9? Please?

Maddie is precious in every sense of the word. I posed her in this silly pose because it fits her personality. :)

Now don't get me wrong. I love Maddie but I kind of wished they would have given her an open mouth smile. In the webisodes she is happy and giddy ALL the time and the closed mouth seems way too serious for her.

If you want a fun little read, pick up Madeline Hatters Story for FREE for your Kindle! It details events that happen before they get to Ever After High for their second year. A short read, takes about 10 minutes but it's a fun read.

In a few days I'll have another post for you from another doll from "The Rebel" three pack. See you then!
